Twin Lakes Tees was formed in 2016 with the idea to create Council Grove lifestyle specific apparel, which quickly morphed into filling custom orders. We started in our garage, which we soon outgrew! Looking for an opportunity to expand our business operation, we moved and into the historic building at 13 West Main Street in Council Grove in 2018. Twin Lakes Tees now offers custom design, screen printing, and apparel/accessory customization, as well as our retail line. Give us a call or shoot us a message to learn more about what we can provide for you!
Jesse and Deidre Knight are the husband and wife duo behind Twin Lakes Tees. With almost 15 years experience in the screen print and apparel manufacturing industry, we decided to open our own business in Council Grove. Our rural community is extremely important to us, as Council Grove is a truly special place with some of the best people around. When we aren't at our day jobs or screen printing, you can find us volunteering for various community organizations or on one of the two beautiful lakes!
Dating back to the 1880's, the building at 11-13 West Main has served many purposes over the last century. Originally constructed as a livery stable, it has housed a motor company, scrap yard, the National Guard Armory, construction company, and much more! In December of 2018, the United States National Park Service added the building to the National Register of Historic Places as a contributing building to Council Grove's downtown National Historic District. Building renovations are scheduled to start in 2019.
